British website Americana UK recently premiered the latest music video from Hamilton, Ohio native Andrew Hibbard.

The clip is for "Runnin’ from the Enemy," a warm slow-roller with shades of Bob Dylan and Wilco. The track is the latest single off of the Folk/Blues/Country singer/songwriter's forthcoming album. The self-titled full-length is Hibbard's third and it is set for release on May 8 via area label SofaBurn Records (which has issued music from numerous Greater Cincinnati acts, including Jeremy Pinnell, Lung and The Tillers).

The 24-year-old Hibbard — who cites as influences songwriting giants like Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Neil Young and Hank Williams — released his first album, Foot in the Door, in 2012 when he was just 17. He has since performed alongside artists like Sturgill Simpson, Old Crow Medicine Show, Willie Nelson and Tyler Childers and, by his own estimate, written around 300 songs (though he says he's "scrapped, lost or forgotten" most of them).

Hibbard's next scheduled local show is April 11 at the Queen City Blues Fest at Newport's Southgate House Revival.
