A festival foodie favorite, Island Noodles is hosting a pop-up at Cincinnati's Smale Riverfront Park this weekend (Sept. 12-13) to offer a little comfort food during these trying times.

According to a former press release from co-hosts Cincy Events Management, Island Noodles is a crowd favorite at Cincinnati's Bunbury Music Festival and offers Hawaiian-style soba noodles with 12 vegetables. It can be ordered vegan or with teriyaki chicken — both bowls cost $9.

The organizers are taking COVID-19 precautions to ensure safety for both the customers and employees by promoting social distancing.

"Please note this is a pop up event. Guests are invited to pick up food and take it with them or find a place to remain socially distanced along the riverfront," the event page explains. "Bring your mask, maintain socially distancing!"

The event will run from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12 and 13. Check their Facebook page for weather-based updates.
