You guys, how much do you love Fran DeWine? So wholesome. During social distancing and the stay at home order, she has been sharing myriad ways to stay busy and productive at home — and also sharing tons of recipes. She apparently writes a weekly food column for the Xenia Gazette. Who knew?
A lot of the dishes she has been posting on her own Twitter at present are much-needed comfort meals, but Gov. Mike DeWine just shared a non-edible recipe for sidewalk chalk on his account. (You probably could eat it, but it doesn't seem like it would taste very good.)
It looks to be more like paint than actual chalk and Mike says you can use this when you don't want to go to the store. During this time, I can guarantee that one of the essential things I am not braving Kroger for is sidewalk chalk.
So if you need a colorful Easter activity to do with the kids in lieu of a larger egg hunt or you don't celebrate Easter and just want to give them something to do outside — or you want to give yourself something to do — try Fran's Sidewalk Chalk Paint. It provides "hours of entertainment."
