Legendary comedian Carol Burnett will be performing in Cincinnati in 2020. The American icon is bringing her one-woman show, An Evening of Laughter and Reflection Where the Audience Asks the Questions, to the Aronoff Center in May.

Tickets for the May 5, 2020 show go on sale Friday, Dec. 20 at 10 a.m via cincinnatiarts.org. They can also be ordered by phone at 513-621-ARTS.

According to a press release for An Evening of Laughter and Reflection, the event will feature video clips from Burnett's old shows and, as the name indicates, Burnett will take questions from the audience, just as she did on her popular TV program. With sketches featuring an ensemble cast that included Harvey Korman, Tim Conway and Vicki Lawrence, The Carol Burnett Show ran from 1967-1978 and won 25 Emmy Awards.

“I love the spontaneity of these evenings,” Burnett says in the release about her live show. “I never know what anyone is going to ask, or say, or do, so it keeps me on my toes!”
