Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens is hosting a special raffle event this fall, offering one lucky winner a trip for two to Africa.
The once-in-a-lifetime trip to Kenya is valued at $16,710. The adventure includes daily safari game drives to observe wildlife, traditional sunset "sundowners" in the bush, meals and other top-of-the-line accommodations.
The 13-day excursion spans from June 12-24, 2020 and will submerge guests in the country's culture, exploring numerous cities and destinations, including Nairobi, Buffalo Springs Reserves, Sweetwaters Tented Camp, Lake Nakuru National Park and the Northern Serengeti. Expect to see lions, hippos, African painted dogs, elephants, rhino, vultures, kudu, impala, ostrich, giraffes and more.
Tickets for the raffle are $100 and all proceeds go towards Zoofari, a local event presented by Western & Southern and Fort Washington Investment Advisors that raises funds for the zoo and its many projects, including conservation efforts and educational outreach.
The raffle ends on Sept. 19 or when tickets have sold out. Ohio residents may purchase tickets online, but out-of-state residents must purchase tickets over the phone by calling 513-487-3329.
