The winter season is arriving a little earlier than usual to Perfect North Slopes in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The ski, snowboarding and tubing park will open for the season on Friday, Nov. 15, the earliest opening in the parks's 40-year history.
Perfect North will be open for skiers and snowboarders from noon to 9:30 p.m. on opening day and will be open 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. throughout the remainder of the weekend. The park will be open on weekends only "until there are more snowmaking opportunities and colder temperatures," according to the website. Tubing will not be available opening weekend.
The loft shop, repair shop and office will be open throughout the week from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The park is offering special pricing for opening weekend, including $39 lift tickets ($29 for ages 12 and under or over 60) and $20 equipment rental.
According to the website's snow report, Perfect North Slopes has had "24+ hours of continuous snowmaking" since Nov. 12.
