The Germania Society of Cincinnati is hosting a two-weekend-long "Big Biergarten Experience" this September, celebrating with German brews, Bavarian bites, competitions and entertainment.
The ticketed event takes places Sept. 11-13 and Sept. 18-20 at the Germania Society of Cincinnati's Pavilion.
The Germania grounds span 34 acres, offering plenty of space for guests to spread out and enjoy, and the event will feature several seating spaces including the Pavilion, outdoor Biergarten and new "Bitburger bier oasis," which offers high-top tables.
Guests must be seated to eat and drink.
The fest will have several different biers to choose from, including Koenig Ludwig Weissbier, Bitburger and Paulaner, plus domestic brews, wine, schnapps and hard seltzers. There will also be soft drinks and water available.
In addition to drinks, the Big Biergarten Experience will feature plenty of Bavarian eats like their popular Germania Chicken and corn on the cob, plus jagerschnitzel, pommels, brats and metts, potato pancakes, pretzels with cheese, sides and desserts.
According to the website, there will be music by local German bands and a stein-hoisting competition. There will also be merchandise available for purchase including German hats, pins, steins, clothing and jewelry.
The fest is going cash-free this year, so you must pay with a card or Apple Pay.
Tickets cost $5 for general admission for one; $20 for two plus parking; $50 for general admission for 10 guests. Tickets must be purchased online ahead of your visit.
