KungFood Chu's AmerAsia in Covington temporarily closed its doors at the end of February in order to renovate their space, with plans to expand by adding more seating and a larger kitchen, plus a multi-use space for parties.
And after what feels like a very long several months, the eatery announced via a Facebook post on May 26 that they have begun serving carry-out orders again.
The restaurant has a big, red tent set up in their alleyway that they are temporarily working out of until they can invite their customers to dine in. They are currently offering a limited menu, but favorites the Big Bertha Eggroll, Dragon's Breath Wontons and the Kung Pow! Chicken are still available.
According to a Facebook post, the restaurant is in the process of opening up an outdoor patio area with colorful picnic tables in the next few weeks.
