New Mount Adams Space The Lowdown to Showcase Up-and-Coming Ohio EDM DJs

Located in the lower level of 4EG's Hightail, the intimate room will host Cincinnati electronic artists like Vusive, BRWN BEAR and VAANCE in the coming weeks

On May 30, a new weekly music series at The Lowdown will launch. The new space — located in the lower level of Mount Adams 4EG club Hightail — will feature performances by a quartet of Ohio EDM DJs in the coming weeks.

The first Lowdown event on May 30 is set to feature Cincinnati’s Vusive. There is potential for further events, but as of now no further dates have been booked beyond late June. (The Lowdown is open exclusively for the EDM shows and not a permanent extension of Hightail.)

May 30 Vusive: A Hip Hop/Bass/Electronic artist based out of Cincinnati who delves into a live mix of synthesizers, drums, guitar, bass, violin, and soundscapes of various nature. He has supported various national acts such as Buku, Thriftworks, Russ Liquid, Freddy Todd, Desert Dwellers, Sixis, Ill-Esha, Random Rab, Yheti, Aztek, Tsuruda (and more). June 6 VAANCE: An Ohio-based Dance/Pop/Electronic producer who is making waves in the dance music genre. VAANCE grew up with a passion for music but began his official career in 2013. Currently rooted in Cincinnati, he has performed at festivals including Ohio's famed, #FEST and Breakaway Music Festival. (VAANCE on Soundcloud.)

June 13 Mike Dow: A Hip-Hop/EDM/Open-Format DJ from Columbus Ohio. Regionally renowned festival appearances include: Ubahn Fest, Bunbury Music Festival, Breakaway Music Festival, Comfest & more. (Mike Dow on Soundcloud.)

June 20 BRWN BEAR: A Future Bass/Trap artist from Cincinnati BRWN BEAR takes the listener on a ride through intense drops and harmonic tides. Each Thursday event will begin at 10 p.m. and admission will be free.
