Skyline Chili is bringing back its "Green Way" to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day.
For one day only — March 17 — Skyline locations will be offering 3-ways, 4-ways and 5-ways with "shamrock green" pasta. This decade-old tradition "is a fun way to celebrate Cincinnati’s long-standing Irish history and heritage," says a release.
The dish does not appear to cost any more than a traditional 3-way, unlike Gold Star's 24K gold 3-way, which is worth $300 and is also being served on Saint Patrick's Day as part of a contest.
As with all things Cincinnati chili, the green noodles have been stirring big feelings from both fans and detractors (mostly detractors). There's been some playful pushback on Twitter almost since the tradition began.
Skyline is nasty, and Skyline on green noodles is so repulsive looking that I am embarrassed this brand is so closely associated with our state. Go ahead and @ me, I ain't even care.

Skyline putting green noodles in the 3-ways on st. patty's day will not help my defense that skyline does not look like diarrhea.
