Each Sunday in May is Family Sunday Funday at the SkyStar Wheel at The Banks, with games, balloon artistry and face painting with the purchase of an admission ticket.
The Kona Ice truck will also be onsite May 19.
Located at 55 E. Freedom Way downtown, this temporary 150-foot Ferris wheel features 36 climate-controlled, enclosed gondolas to hold six passengers for a few rotations and unparalleled river views. Originally slated to close in December 2018, the wheel has proven so popular it extended its stay until June 16.
SkyStar is open 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sundays and Sunday Fundays run from noon-4 p.m. May 5, 12, 19 and 26. Tickets are $12.50 per person.
