The Cincinnati Observatory invites people of all ages to watch the full moon rise over Cincinnati on March 20 — the day of the 2019 Spring Equinox, aka the first day of spring.

Tours of the observatory buildings and telescope viewings of the evening and night sky will be included. Guests are asked to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets to watch the moon rise outside. Watching the full moon with family, friends or a partner might be the perfect way to welcome back the spring season.

7:30-9 p.m. Wednesday (March 20). $5; free for observatory members. Cincinnati Observatory, 3489 Observatory Place, Mount Lookout, cincinnatiobservatory.org
