Five Cincinnati Restaurants Offering Family Easter Meals for Carry-Out

Easter will be a little different this year, but these local eateries are making sure, if nothing else, you're eating some damn good food

Easter is going to look a tad bit different this year: large family gatherings are canceled, church services are being streamed from home, Easter egg hunts might just exist in the backyard.

And while traditions may have shifted this time around, restaurants throughout the Greater Cincinnati area are suiting up to ensure that amid the coronavirus-bred uncertainty in life, you'll still be eatin' good this holiday. 

Here's a list of several local restaurants from which you can order an Easter meal to share with your family. Get your orders in early. 

Findlay Market — Dozens of vendors throughout Cincinnati's iconic market are offering both ingredients and meals that can be enjoyed with your loved ones on Easter day, from a family-sized goetta casserole from Gramma Debbie's Kitchen to spiral ham from Eckerlin Meats and a cheese board from The Rhined. The market will be closed on Sunday but orders can be picked up or delivered prior. 1801 Race St., Over-the-Rhine.

Prime Cincinnati — The downtown steakhouse is offering a special prime rib dinner feast for the holiday. The meals come in packages for either two ($120) or four people ($200) and include Queen Cut prime rib; a mixed green salad; choice of two sides with options like truffle mac and cheese, creamed spinach and bourbon maple bacon Brussels sprouts; and choice of one dessert, with options like New York-style cheesecake and key lime pie. Grand Finale — Create your own Grand Finale brunch buffet at home this Easter. The Glendale restaurant is offering Sunday pick-up from noon-6 p.m., with favorite menu items including a variety of crepes, Dave's famous crab cakes, quiche and chicken breast pot pie. Unataza Coffee — The Dayton, Kentucky Honduran cafe is offering a tasty menu of items that are available for pick-up on Easter morning beginning at 9 a.m. The petite menu includes family-sized frittatas ($14), a platter of 12 blueberry muffins ($22), a gallon of coffee ($24) or 32 oz. of cold brew coffee. Washington Platform — The downtown eatery is offering build-your-own feasts including entree options like fried chicken, seafood lasagna and glazed baked ham; choice of two salads with options including Waldorf Salad and Caesar salad; two side dishes with options including oyster cornbread stuffing and white cheddar mac and cheese; a dessert and rolls with butter. The meal costs $15 per person; prime rib or beef is available as an entree with an additional $8 per person.
