The end of the space shuttle program also marks then end of more than 4,000 jobs, while around 1,000 NASA civil servants will be shifted to other duties at the space center.

After Rep. Allen West’s (R-Fla.) Tuesday e-mail to DNC chair and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, in which he calls her “vile, despicable, and unprofessional” and ”not a Lady,” Roll Call reported an apology earlier today. However, DNC aide Brad Woodhouse responded by calling the apology “a complete falsehood.” Angela Sachitano, a spokesperson for West, also said the apology is “absolutely false” and that West is waiting for an apology from Schultz for being criticizing his House Party haircut support of the Cut, Cap, and Balance act.

West yesterday offered this defense to Fox News: “This has just been an ongoing thing. I have been called Uncle Tom, a sell-out Oreo. It’s not about Allen West. And so once again, it’s very interesting to me that we continually allow liberals to do whatever they want and attack conservatives, but all of the sudden when a conservative stands up and says enough then people all want to sit back, especially liberals, and play victim. She’s not a victim. She’s been attacking Allen West for quite some time.” And Allen West will not apologize for referring to himself in the third person. Ever.

Kim Kardashian is suing Old Navy for allegedly using a look-alike in their latest and greatest commercial I’ve never seen, titled, “Super C-U-T-E.” Oh, that one. Kardashian’s lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages and wants a federal judge to prevent Old Navy from using the look-alike again. The alleged doppelganger is actually Melissa Molinaro, appearing in the commercial with her band, The Audio Threadz.
