If you were planning on getting some cooking done early for Thanksgiving, the wind may have other plans for you.
Duke Energy is currently reporting there are upward of 27,500 customers without power in the Greater Cincinnati area.
You can view a map of outages online and track the restoration efforts there as well (if you have the internet...). You can also report outages via the Duke app.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the area until 9 p.m. tonight — with "Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph" — so hold on to your hats and cross your fingers your oven is going to get turned back on.
