Northside's Wildfire Pizza Kitchen has announced new flavors and longer hours of operation to allow visitors more opportunities to enjoy their wood-fired pizza.
The self-proclaimed "neo-Neapolitan" pizza joint with an imported wood-burning oven serves pizza, calzones, appetizers, salads and more out of the taproom of Urban Artifact using housemade sauces, fresh toppings and handmade, cold-fermented dough. And according to a recent press release, they are expanding their hours starting the week of Feb. 4 to 4-10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, noon-midnight Friday-Saturday and noon-8 p.m. Sunday.
Wildfire is also adding new menu items, including an antipasto salad with house-pickled banana peppers and two new appetizers: goat-cheese stuffed mushrooms and housemade pimento cheese dip. There will also be additional pizza toppings, like honey goat cheese, anchovies and capocollo, plus a meat and cheese charcuterie board that is made to order.
Even more than longer hours and new menu items, Wildfire will also have new and unique deals. On Fridays, look forward to $9 lunch specials of two slices of pizza and an Urban Artifact beer or a half salad and half order of cheese bread with an Urban Artifact beer. On Wednesdays this month, test your luck with a scratch-off and win discounts on food or even a free large pizza. According to Wildfire, every ticket is a winner.
