Downtown's Crown Republic Gastropub is transforming their restaurant into a cantina pop-up on Cinco de Mayo (which also happens to be taco tuesday).
From noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, the eatery will be offering a special menu for carry-out, loaded with margaritas, tacos and other Mexican favorites like quesadillas, tortas and more.
Margaritas are priced at $15 for two servings (16 ounces) and come in seven flavors including traditional, pear, pomegranate or coconut, with the option to spice it up with their house-infused jalapeno syrup.
The menu offers five different tacos to choose from, priced at $3 a la carte, or three tacos and arroz rojo for $9. Taco choices include carne asada, pescado, cochinita pibil, papas con chorizo and chicken tinga.
They will also have chips and salsa or chips and guacamole available.
