The 10th annual summer Cincy Beerfest is moving from Fountain Square to Great American Ball Park for a single-day, two-session festival on Sept. 1. Sessions take place 1:30-4:30 p.m. or 8-11 p.m. that day, and early admission tickets get you into each session one hour early.

Beerfest will be taking over multiple areas within and outside the ball park including Crosley Terrace, the new beer garden, the First Base Concourse, the Fan Zone and Viewing Decks, offering more than 150 different local and regional craft beers to sample. Tickets include 25 samples, each good for up to a 5-ounce pour. You can also redeem tickets for mini craft cocktails, gluten-free ciders and wine, if beer isn't your thing.

“We couldn’t be happier to be bringing our festival to the iconic Great American Ball Park. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time partnering with Fountain Square for our Summer Beerfest. The new location offers sweeping views of the Ohio river, amazing amenities exclusive to GABP, and also half of the event is under cover if we have weather situations. To be able to partner with the Cincinnati Reds to host our hometown festival with our hometown baseball team… We couldn’t be more excited," said Craig Johnson of Festivals Unlimited, the producers of Cincy Beerfest and Cincy Winter Beerfest, in a press release.

The festival is also partnering with sponsors Fifty West, The Party Source and Kahiki Foods. Proceeds will benefit the Big Joe Duskin Musical Education Foundation, dedicated to supporting music programs in underfunded schools.

The first 1,000 tickets sold through July 31 are considered early admission tickets and cost $35 plus online fees. After the first 1,000 of those are sold, early admission ticket prices jump to $40. The rest of the price structure for early admission and regular admission range from $40 to $55, based on date.
