Bogart’s has announced that Linkin Park bandmember Mike Shinoda is coming to Cincinnati for a concert on Monday, Nov. 12 (the day after Veteran’s Day, so lots of people will have that day off of work and school).

Tickets for Shinoda’s show go on sale this Friday (Sept. 7) here.

In late March, Shinoda released his first solo album, Post Traumatic, which featured songs he’d written in the wake of his friend and bandmate Chester Bennington’s death in the summer of 2017. The album features guests like Machine Gun Kelly, Chino Moreno and K. Flay; the other members of Linkin Park also contributed to the recording.

In a press release for the tour, the singer/rapper/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist sounds like he is looking forward to furthering his and LP fans’ healing processes with the live presentation of the album:

“Listening to a recorded song is not the same as experiencing that song live on stage. Similarly, seeing a painting in an album or book is not the same as seeing the original, in person. In sharing a live experience with you, my hope is to inspire questions, answers, answers, and reflections – (not) only about my story, but about your own. The search for meaning is boundless, and art is often one of our best vehicles."
