Starting this Friday, June 28, Findlay Market will welcome two permanent vendors to its historic shopping center.
The market announced in a press release earlier this week that long-time Findlay coffee vendor Urbana Cafe and new-to-the-market boutique flower and plant shop Gia & the Blooms will open up shop side by side in the "roll up door spaces on the north side of the market."
Urbana Cafe got its start at Findlay Market, serving customers Italian-style coffee right out of a signature blue Vespa. They have three other locations across the city, and now will have a permanent home where it all began.
Gia & the Blooms, located on 13th Street in Over-the-Rhine, is known for its contemporary and clean seasonal floral arrangements and selection of houseplants. The new location will provide more opportunities for shoppers to fill their homes with greenery.
Beginning at at 10 a.m. on Friday, the weekend-long celebration will kick off with a champagne toast with the owners at their new spaces. Throughout the weekend, guests can expect to find additional specials and promotions.
