It’s rare for Cincinnatians to run out of reasons to gather and drink beer on the weekend, but Saint Patrick’s Day brings a distinct level of “enthusiasm” to the activity. It would probably be easier to make a guide of places not offering some variation of green drink specials and Irish music to celebrate the boozy holiday, but we made a list anyway for you to map out your Saint Paddy’s Day game plan.

Saint Patrick’s Day at Molly Malone’s — Molly Malone's takes Saint Patrick's Day seriously, starting off the festivities with kegs and eggs at 7 a.m. The first 100 people will get a souvenir T-shirt. All three floors of the pub will be alive with themed events and there will be a giant tent out front, full of Irish music and bands. The Emerald Society Police & Fire, Pipes & Drums will play throughout the day. Then jump into a jig inspired by the Irish rock music of the Lost Celts at Covington's Molly Malone’s. Come ready to celebrate — and come thirsty. 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 17. Molly Malone’s, 112 E. Fourth St., Covington, facebook.com/mollymalonescincinnati.
