Have you picked out something green to wear for St. Patrick’s Day? Either way, you might consider further St. Pat’s prep at the Clifton Players’ production of Martin Cassella’s very funny new play The Irish Curse, described as being simultaneously wickedly delightful and heart wrenching.

Size matters to a group of Irish-American men who meet weekly in a self-help group in a Catholic church basement to discuss a sad “shortcoming” — let’s call it “small equipment” — a curse they believe has ruined their lives. A young man joins the group and challenges their obsession.

8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and Monday, March 10; 2 p.m. Sunday. Through March 15. $20. Clifton Performance Theatre, 404 Ludlow Ave., Clifton, 513-861-7469, cliftonperformancetheatre.com.
