If you’re reading this, chances are you have at least a vague memory of a time when checking your Facebook account or updating your Netflix queue wasn’t part of your daily routine. In recognition of the ever-changing landscape of technology and its impact on us, The Mockbee (2260 Central Pkwy., Brighton) will host a multimedia art event titled Fuck You … I Love You that takes an introspective look at the first wave of individuals who grew up in the 21st century alongside a multitude of staggeringly influential technologies.
Fuck You … I Love You will feature a smorgasbord of live bands, including The Lions Rampant, Uzi, Pack of Strays and Ultra Pulverize, along with visual and performance art by Ali Calis, C Jacqueline Wood, Clint Woods, Derek Toebbe, Dottie Johnson, Elise Thompson, Jason Butler, Jessie Cundiff, Josh Jacob and more. 8 p.m. start. $5 admission.
