Before she was chosen to sing at President Obama’s second inauguration alongside Beyoncé and Aretha Franklin, Kelly Clarkson was just a 21-year-old Texan who won the first season of American Idol when the show still had two hosts and Ryan Seacrest was yet to be a household name. Fast forward 13 years, and she’s still arguably the most successful Idol winner, with 91 (yes, 91, according to The Hollywood Reporter) Billboard No. 1 singles, three Grammys and every middle schooler’s favorite slow dance song — “A Moment Like This,” obviously — under her belt. Catch her at Riverbend on Tuesday and watch the singer flex her critically acclaimed pipes and jam out to favorites you forgot about but still love, like “Miss Independent” and “Since U Been Gone.” Pentatonix opens. Seacrest out.

7 p.m. Tuesday. $16.50-$96. Riverbend Music Center, 6295 Kellogg Ave., California, riverbend.org.
