Locked and loaded for another depraved American Rock & Roll circus on the great Ohio River, local outfits Suburban Revival and Rootbound will share the stage for round two of Live Loud Industries’ Rock the Boat concert series at Riverside Marina (Dayton, Ky.) Thursday, graciously providing a suitable soundtrack for attendees to hijack an express train bound straight for rage town. Hailing from Alexandria, Ky., Suburban Revival is relatively new to the local Folk Rock circuit. Nevertheless, they’ve been tenacious in their effort to build a web presence and finish their debut EP The Book, expected for release this summer. Rootbound casts the perfect soundtrack for a pissed-off roofer to swing his hammer, or, better yet, a belligerently drunk ex-Marine to pump his fist in the air at every chorus. Loud and proud, Rootbound’s “Get High Tonight” and “Bullets from the Borderline” are almost certain to get some Budweisers flying through the air. No cover. Doors open at 7 p.m. Thursday.
