The award-winning work of local illustrator Will Hillenbrand is on view now at the main library’s atrium.
After graduating from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, Hillenbrand worked in advertising before getting his first book illustration job. Since then, he’s illustrated almost 60 books, including Bear in Love, Spring Is Here, Whopper Cake, Down by the Barn and Mother Goose Picture Puzzles. His awards include the 2012 Parents’ Choice Silver Honor; 1990 Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators; a Notable Book Award from the American Library Association; and several Children's Choices Awards from the International Reading Association.
