Framed! In a good way, of course. Cincinnati Art Museum’s annual frame sale gives the public a chance to buy, at bargain rates, picture frames the museum can’t use. All sizes and shapes, in metal, in wood, decoratively molded — they are ready to show off whatever you’d like to put on your own walls. Perhaps even art you’ve made yourself? Or a photograph that deserves attention? Or that wonderful drawing, watercolor, print you bought from an exhibition? The frames from the museum’s print and painting departments range from simple and inexpensive to large and elaborate. The sale takes place in the Castellini Foundation Room, ground floor, near the DeWitt entrance to the Museum. Tip: Go early. The good stuff moves fast. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday Aug. 25. Cincinnati Art Museum, 953 Eden Park Drive, Mount Adams.
