Performing this Sunday at 7 p.m. are a bunch of Chinese vegetarians who have dedicated their entire lives to a discipline, arguably the source of all known martial arts. The Shaolin Warriors, Kung Fu masters and disciples of the Shaolin schools, will be performing a choreographed theatrical show at Cincinnati Music Hall demonstrating the limits of mental and physical discipline and the power of Zen philosophy. This “ballet” is not for little girls clutching a Cabbage Patch Kid. These monks are performing deadly maneuvers with axes, swords, spears, darts, daggers and many other weapons with the grace, balance and speed of a cheetah and the power of a dragon. Their movements are believed beyond the human body, something only possible in movies. Tickets are on sale now and range from $25-$40.
