Celebrate the cultural texture of this fair city with Cincinnati’s Celtic Festival — a festivus for the Celtivus — on full display throughout the weekend at Washington Park.

With Celtic games, food and multi-staged music and dance events, the fest will honor the seven Celtic nations: Ireland, Scotland, Isle of Man, Cornwall, Wales, Galicia, Spain and Brittany, France. Musical performances will highlight the Celtic sounds of the harp and Uilleann pipe (Irish bagpipe) with bands including the Caledonian Pipers and Highland Reign, and dancing will feature ceili dances, a popular Irish folk form, with performances from the McGing Irish Dancers and the Celtic Rhythm Dancers.

Noon-8 p.m. Saturday; Noon-6 p.m. Sunday (with an 11 a.m. Catholic mass). Free. Washington Park, 1230 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine, cincinnaticelticfest.com
