Music: The Quebe Sisters

The Quebe Sisters are singing sweetness personified.

The Quebe Sisters are singing sweetness personified. A lot of what works for Hulda, Grace and Sophia Quebe is the same thing that has made sister (or brother) acts shine over the years — close sibling harmonies. As kids, various Quebe sisters won quite a few fiddle championships at the local, state and national levels from their home base in Denton, Texas. As they grew older, they won a Western Music Association award and have appeared at the Grand Ole Opry, the Kennedy Center, the MerleFest music festival and many other high profile venues. Combining three-part harmony vocals with three-part harmony fiddling, The Quebe Sisters put on quite a show.
