Not Fade Away

David Chase, executive producer of The Sopranos, staves off fading away from the spotlight, serving as writer and director of Not Fade Away, a love letter of sorts to a bygone musical era. This intimate drama, set in New Jersey during the 1960s, follows a group of friends who dream of forming a Rock & Roll band and making it big. Chase brings in the likes of James Gandolfini, Christopher McDonald, Brad Garrett and Isiah Whitlock, Jr. to round out a cast of lesser-known actors as the wannabe rockers.
