Inspired by Cincinnati’s block-by-block evolution, Balls Around The Block (BATB) pub crawl formed when a group of friends decided to discover downtown by drinking their way around it, always turning left into a new bar and never crossing the street.
BATB is now a fundraising effort. Last year, this event raised more than $10,000 for Fido Field, downtown’s all-volunteer off-the-leash dog park. The group hopes to raise $12,000 this year. Anyone who wants to participate should join a team (of up to 25 people) and follow their leader for 30-minute stints at bars across downtown including Madonna’s, Play, Scene, Nicholson’s and more.
