Chris Buck (writing credits on Pocahontas and Surf’s Up and directing for Family Dog and Tarzan) and Jennifer Lee (writer on Wreck-It Ralph) team up to take the helm of this chilly adventure about a young woman, Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell), braving the elements with the help of a mountain man (Jonathan Groff) and a snowman (Josh Gad), who longs to see and feel the warmth of a sunny summer day. Anna must save the land from her older sister (Idina Menzel), whose ability to create winter weather has gotten out of control. The question is whether or not the hapless snowman will survive the inevitable thaw. Opens wide Nov. 27. (PG) Not reviewed
