Grab your passports and join the Cincinnati Museum and K12, an online learning organization, to celebrate the Celtic Lands Culture Fest.
This year the Cincinnati Museum’s annual “Passport to the World” series features a Celtic marketplace with authentic merchandise and goods, a “Celtic Forest” that includes sing-a-long songs, stories and many more family-friendly activities. A 6-by-10-foot canvas, provided by Happen Inc., will also be available for everyone to help paint a Celtic-themed mural.
Along the way, while enjoying entertaining Celtic music and dancing by local Celtic dance groups such as the McGing Irish Dancers, visitors are encouraged to stop at different spots and answer challenging questions to earn stamps for their passport. A full passport can be exchanged for a free admission pass to the Cincinnati History Museum, the Natural History and Science Museum or the Duke Energy Children’s Museum. In addition, each full passport will be entered in a drawing to win a one-year family membership to the Cincinnati Museum Center.
The Celtic Lands Culture Fest takes place 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Get event and Museum Center details here.
