Run first, eat later. The 99th annual Thanksgiving Day Race takes over downtown for a family-friendly 10K starting and ending at Paul Brown Stadium. All ages, shapes and sizes are invited to run for their health. There’s free parking at the stadium and the course takes you on a lovely scenic jog all over downtown. Alpine Valley Water will be everywhere during the race for your hydration needs and at the end of the course there will be McDonalds, Brueggers bagels, Kroger yogurt and cheese and more, just to tide you over until dinner. If you haven’t registered yet, don’t worry. Bring $35 cash or check to the stadium on race day for last minute registration. The race starts at 9 a.m., so wake up early to stretch and get down there. You can sleep after turkey. Tryptophan. Get details here.
