Synergy will run high at InkTank for Final Friday, with a presentation of New Voices photographs and videos by School for Creative and Performing Arts students, under the aegis of Prairie Gallery. “New Voices provided an opportunity for SCPA creative writing students to explore the community around Washington Park in words and photographs. The work demonstrates a strong personal connection to the cultural life of Over-the-Rhine, especially to members of the men’s recovery program at the Drop Inn Center, which played a central role in the New Voices program,” says David Rosenthal, Prairie director. The work had an earlier showing elsewhere in OTR and can also be seen now at Venice on Vine. InkTank’s doors open at 7 p.m. on Friday; admission is free but donations are encouraged. InkTank’s unique selection of books by Cincinnati area writers will also be available for browsing or for purchase in the Book Bank.
