P² (Parents and Professionals for Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio) is a volunteer support network for the region’s Planned Parenthood organization. The group hosts events that spread awareness about Planned Parenthood and raise funds for its education programs. This week they host a screening of the hilarious, heartbreaking and super-smart film Obvious Child. Written and directed by Gillian Robespierre, Obvious Child stars Jenny Slate as a stand-up comedian who faces an unplanned pregnancy. The film offers a fresh, modern perspective on a topic so often considered taboo: abortion. 7 p.m. Tuesday. $5 suggested donation.
