The Cincinnati Museum Center brings Asia to Cincinnati with their popular Passport to the World series. Spend the weekend exploring the far reaches of Japan, China, India, Taiwan and Korea with activities, attractions and performances designed to immerse you in the culture of the Far East. Throughout the weekend, stop by the Asian Market and Cultural Place for authentic merchandise, henna hand and face painting, and free health screenings (not Asian-specific).

On Saturday, special performances include a fan dance by the Cincinnati Korean-American School, a Taiwan Lion Dance and a puppet show, a classical “Kathak” dance by Noopur Nritya Nilay and a performance by the Ho Miao dance group from the Hua Xia Mason Chinese School. More dancing follows on Sunday with another dance from the Nritya Arpana school of Indian Dance, another puppet show, a vocal performance by the Sakura Ladies Chorus and a demonstration Aikido of Cincinnati set to the rhythm of taiko drums.

There will also be special activities for the little ones 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
