In this new documentary, follow 9-year-old Vivienne Harr as she raises funds to combat human trafficking and slavery via a lemonade stand. After seeing a photo of two enslaved boys in Nepal, Harr set up a lemonade stand and raised more than $100,000 over the course of 173 days, which she donated to Not for Sale, a nonprofit that works to eradicate human trafficking. In the film, she sets up her stand every day, rain or shine, with the goal of freeing 500 children from slavery. The documentary puts Harr’s work into the larger global context of the efforts to stop human trafficking and the role we play as consumers in modern-day slavery.
