There are many good things that come along with winter’s creeping cold: the holiday seasons, sunshine glinting off fresh snow and, of course, seasonal craft beers. The Ohio Craft Beer Association is celebrating with a Holiday Craft Beer Extravaganza on the Schmidlapp Event Lawn at Smale Riverfront Park. The event will feature loads of beer tastings, plus food and beer pairings, meet-and-greets and a souvenir cup for VIP ticketholders. The event also coincides with the Moerlein Lager House’s Winter Beer Extravaganza, opening at 11 a.m. with tastings of more than a dozen of the most popular seasonal draft beers.
