When you think of the words victory, valentine and vagina, what comes to mind? I'm really hoping you said V-Day. If you didn't, you need to get your mind out of the gutter and then head over to the University of Cincinnati at 7 p.m. Friday to check out their rendition of The Vagina Monologues. Eve Ensler's award-winning play is based on her interviews with women from around the world on relationships, sex, violence against women and the perception of vaginas. This benefit production, sponsored by UC's Women's Center, will donate 10 percent of all proceeds to support local efforts to stem violence against women and girls in post-quake Haiti. V-Day, which was founded in 1998, is a global activist movement to end violence against women and empower women to find their collective voices. There will be two more shows at 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Engineering Research Center, Room 427. Tickets are $10 and UC students are free with ID.
