Duke Energy has created their 64th annual display in the lobby of the Duke Energy building. What started in 1946 with one model train designed by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad has expanded to include 300 train cars and 50 locomotives on 1,000 feet of track, attracting more than nine million visitors since its inception. And it’s free to view. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday through Dec. 31. The display is closed Christmas Day.
