Did you think awards season was over? Sure, we may have several months to go until the next Emmys, Golden Globes and Academy Awards, but those events can be a little stodgy. If you like your awards shows with little more camp, tune in to the over-the-top tribute to the year in pop culture, the NewNowNext Awards (10 p.m. Monday, Logo).
Hosted by Aisha Tyler, Logo’s sixth annual NNN Awards celebrate the best of television, film, music, fashion, the Internet and beyond. This is the channel that brings us RuPaul’s Drag Race, so get ready for a fun romp over the traditional award show format.
The NNN award categories trump all the standards while completely outdoing MTV’s lame Movie Awards (Logo sees your “Best Kiss” and raises you “TV You Betta Watch.”) Fabulously culture-popping categories include “Best New Indulgence” (The CW’s Arrow, @BettyFkingWhite on Twitter, George Takei’s Facebook page, Real Husbands of Hollywood and the Vine app), “Most Innovative Charity of the Year” (Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, Born This Way Foundation, Housing Works, It Gets Better Project, OutServe-SLDN and Point Foundation) and “That’s My Jam” (“When I Was Your Man,” Bruno Mars; “C’mon,” Ke$ha; “Can’t Hold Us,” Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; “Just Give Me a Reason,” P!nk; “Losing You,” Solange; “Closer,” Tegan & Sara) and they’re all selected via public vote and newnownext.com. Fergie will be given the “Always Next, Forever Now” award, Logo’s version of a lifetime achievement.
Targeted toward “the gays and the girls,” the NNNs promise to preview bits of culture everyone else will be talking about a year from now.

Nathan For You (10:30 p.m., Comedy Central) – Nathan revisits the business failures from this season. In response to complaints that Nathan himself never takes risks on television, our host attempts an escape act that, if not completed, will result in him exposing himself to a group of children and thus becoming sex offender.

MTV Movie Awards (9 p.m., MTV) – Rebel Wilson hosts the 22nd annual show with performances by Selena Gomez, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and the Pitch Perfect chicks plus appearances by Brad Pitt, Danny McBride, Zachary Quinto and more. Peter Dinklage will present the Comedic Genius award to Will Ferrell (the two co-starred in Elf).

Mad Men (10 p.m., AMC) – Reefer madness! Linda Cardellini! Crazy facial hair! There’s so much to take away from last week’s killer season premiere, and a lot to look forward to as the show continues into 1968 — an extremely tumultuous year in American history. Jon Hamm directs this week’s episode.
Bar Rescue (10 p.m., Spike) – Jon Taffer takes on the show’s first comedy club.
