Diner: Outdoor Dining

Critics' Pick: Indigo Casual Gourmet Cafe

Scene: Indigo's patio is set back from the street and offers a shady, low-key place to dine al fresco. Set among trees, and perched a few doors down from the bustle of Hyde Park Square proper, the patio at Indigo is a quiet little urban hideaway. The vibe is less Hyde Park see-and-be-seen, and more casual and relaxed, which is exactly why we like it here.

Eats: The menu is perfect for summer outdoor dining. There is a wide selection of salads (try the Black and Bleu Tuna Salad, made with spicy blackened tuna $9.90), as well as filling calzones, good pizzas and sandwiches. If you're trying to be more health conscious, order your deliciously cheesy pizza and calzones with whole wheat crust. (Craig Bida)
