The 56th-annual Cavalcade of Customs returns to the Duke Energy Convention Center this weekend. There will be more than 500 classic cars, custom rides, racecars and motorcycles on display — if it’s got wheels and it’s cool, it’s there. There will also be a workshop for high school and college-level students on Friday to learn engineering, welding and more. And along with automotive displays and education, the convention will also feature guest appearances from the likes of the WWE’s Daniel Bryan, Billy the Exterminator and Daisy Duke from The Dukes of Hazzard, plus a pinup girl contest Saturday.
3-10 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. $17 general admission; $6 children. Duke Energy Convention Center, 525 Elm St., Downtown, autorama.com.
