Blue Ash has approved plans to build an Envision Cinema (4780 Cornell Road) at a former Bally's Total Fitness location.

It will be a restaurant/cinema hybrid featuring first-run movies as well as full food serivce. The restaurant will feature more than 350 seats in the combined dining room, bar, patio and private party room, with a menu including made-to-order pizzas and flatbreads that can be ready in less than three minutes, salads, wraps, burgers, entrees and dessert. The theater will have 500 motorized recliners spread out over seven auditoriums, featuring first-run films and special events. Seats in the movie theaters will include call buttons so guests can order food and drinks before and during the movie.

According to a recent press release, Robbie Sosna, president of Envision Cinemas, said his company picked Blue Ash because of its strong economy and hotel environment. “Blue Ash is a great place to live, work and play, and we felt as though it only made sense to launch our first business here,” Sosna said in the release.

Construction is scheduled to begin in late summer 2014 and be complete by summer 2015. Envision plans to hire 125-150 employees for the property. Envision Cinemas will be the first of its kind in Cincinnati.
