Keeping it local is important to Bryan Madison, whether it’s offering Madison’s Ridgeview Farm’s locally-grown, farm-fresh produce at Madison’s Markets (at Findlay Market) or dining with family at a Cincinnati institution.
CityBeat: What was the last great meal you ate and where did you have it?
Bryan Madison: (My wife) Carolyn and I recently celebrated my birthday at Orchids at Palm Court. The food there is simply fantastic. My dish featured beef paired with seasonal morel, chanterelle and hedgehog mushrooms. Carolyn’s lamb was to die for!
CB: What will keep you coming back to a favorite spot?
BM: Consistently good quality and a memorable experience. One of the things we love about Orchids is their understanding of how to create an atmosphere that enhances one’s dining experience. We love the ambiance of the restaurant, as well as the live piano and Jazz music. At Orchids, they have mastered the art of excellent service. During our last visit, we had the pleasure of being served by one of our regular patrons at the Market, Steven. It really added to our sense of community to connect with our patrons in a new way.
