There are several restaurant openings to talk about this month. Greek to Me opened a second location in Covington last weekend. Its Erlanger restaurant offers authentic Greek food and music in a casual atmosphere with low prices.

The Midwest Culinary Institute's public restaurant, The Summit, will open May 23. Program graduate Matt Winterrowd, who has worked at Boca and Daveed's, will head the kitchen. It will be reservation only on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. 513-569-4980.

The Oceanaire Seafood Room — with furnishings and a décor reminiscent of classic 1930's ocean liners — will open June 2 in the 580 Building on the corner of Sixth and Walnut streets downtown. The restaurant will offer more than 25 species of fresh seafood and shellfish flown in daily from around the world. Popular menu items include Nantucket Bay Scallops, Yellowfin "Ahi" Tuna and Gulf Red Snapper.

Jason Druso, former owner of Aqua Restaurant, and his new partner Robin Thomas have formed the Landmark Hospitality Group and are taking over The Iron Horse Inn in Glendale (40 Village Square). They are planning extensive renovations for a new restaurant aptly called The Iron Horse Restaurant. The seasonal menu will be New American with dishes that emphasize chops and fresh fish. Landmark Hospitality Group will follow this project with The Glendalia Boutique Hotel and The Black Squirrel Bistro, which will also be located in the Village Square of Glendale. ...

A new dessert/nightspot/bar is opening in Kenwood at the corner of Hosbrook and Montgomery roads called The Chocolate Tequila. The venue will feature house bands and regional groups each Friday and Saturday night. Music begins at 9:30 p.m. with a $5 cover charge. Menu offerings will include alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks that feature unique chocolate-based sweets and traditional bar offerings and snacks. ...

Nine local First Watch locations will be giving out a free box of chocolates to moms on Mother's Day. ... On May 29 from 6-8 p.m. Market Wines at Findlay Market will host the first in a yearlong series of seasonal wine-tasting fund-raiser events. (All proceeds will benefit the Findlay Market Fund.) Market Wines owner Michael Maxwell will be featuring four wines that evening. He and Gary Boswell, from Vintner Select, will present each wine, its vintner and tips on food pairings. Complementary hors d'ouevres will accompany each wine.
