NVISION is one of several funky retail spots around town that offers lots of handcrafted, up-cycled or recovered clothing, art and furniture. Additionally, they host regular art exhibitions. This Friday the space presents an exhibition by Eric Deller and additional works on display by self-taught painter Angie Ziegler. Deller is a graphic design student at University of Cincinnati, but his work for this exhibition toys with a nave aesthetic in his paintings on wooden rounds. His most recent body of work is titled FOOD ICONS and explores the use of pop images in the world of advertising for which he is studying to join. The opening reception for this new art show is from 6-10 p.m., which coincides with the regular 6-9 p.m. Friday hours of the neighboring gallery Thunder-Sky Inc. Their newly opened exhibition Ice Ice Baby! features paintings, photographs and hybrids of the two by Bob Scheadler and Mike Weber.
