Covington-based Braxton Brewing Co. knows its bubbly beverages. Of course, the company is well-equipped with a wide range of beers, and back in March of 2019, the brand branched out into its line of boozy seltzers "VIVE," which have been a major hit around the area and beyond.
And as we approach springtime, the brewery has taken its effervescent bevs one step further with the launch of its "first-of-its-kind" fruit punch hard seltzers.
The drinks come in 12-packs with flavors including Original Punch, with hints of strawberry, black cherry and orange; Southern Punch, with hints of apricot, nectarine and peach; Sunrise Punch, with hints of orange, pineapple and lemonade; and Tropical Punch with pineapple, coconut and citrus yuzu. The 5% ABV drinks are sweeter and fruitier than VIVE's original hard seltzer line and contain 100 calories each with 2 grams of carbs.
"Consumers have spoken, and their buying power has proven, they consistently seek out products that allow them to indulge with less guilt than they would have in consuming even their guiltiest pleasures," a release from Braxton Brewing Co. reads.
"In a survey of over 600 consumers, the VIVE brand found the nexus of fruit-based, sweet, sparkling beverages were preferred. Launching this new variety of the VIVE brand will make it the first and only carbonated, alcoholic punch on shelf."
The punch packs are available now at stores like Kroger, Meijer, Walmart and Target throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee.
